We are creating a festive event celebrating the Bard featuring multiple short pieces from his various works on stage each directed in its own style, putting creative twists, heightened relevance, and a dose of joy and silliness. 

Open Call Audition Dates: Friday July 31st 7PM & Saturday August 1st 1PM

Where: UUSGS / Unity House Players, 245 Porter Lake Dr. Springfield, MA

  • Please be familiar with (1) of the 3 Shakespeare sides listed in the audition info document. Memorization is not required
  • Please also be prepared to do cold readings from scenes that will be in the production and contentless scenes.
  • Strolling Variety artists (magicians, musicians, jugglers, etc.)- only need to prepare 2-3 minutes of your act to showcase at auditions (no monologue or other material needed) Click here for more info.
  • You are encouraged to bring your theatrical resume, but not required..
  • A photo and/or video may be taken at auditions.
  • Please be familiar with the show, schedules, character information, and requirements as described in the audition info document. All genders and ethnicities are encouraged to audition.

Performance dates: October 15, 16, 17, & 18.

Rehearsals are expected to begin in late August and will be based on availability of the actors. Each scene is expected to rehearse roughly 5-7 times prior to tech week. Not everyone will be called at all times. More days may be added as we approach tech week and opening night. Please make sure your complete availability is filled out on your auditionee profile form.

Unity House is a volunteer run community theater organization. Performers, crew, and directors donate their time and talents and are not paid for this fundraising event.
