Our annual fundraising auction is coming up on Saturday, October 25th--and we need your help to make it a success!  Revenue from the auction supports our operational budget, which means it helps to pay for all the big and small things that we do as a congregation.  Let's make this a fun way to support our spiritual home!

The first thing we need is DONATIONS for our silent auction, and this year we are focusing on Gift Cards, Events, and Gatherings. Think "Less stuff, more experiences."  You might think that you don't have anything that you can donate...but everyone can contribute.  Check out the following ideas:

• Do you frequently visit a local business that would donate a gift card, gift passes, or tickets to an upcoming event?  Examples: gift card to a restaurant, gift passes to classes at a yoga studio or gym, theater tickets, museum passes. Check your credit card points to see if you can convert some to a gift card that you could donate!
• Do you have a skill/hobby that you could share with others, or a service that you could offer?  Examples: a cooking class focusing on a special cuisine/recipe; offering rides to the airport or medical appts; pet and/or house sitting; a few hours of childcare or caregiver respite; two hours of refrigerator/freezer cleaning; an hour or two of gift wrapping; tech/email assistance; lessons or coaching sessions of any type; baking and delivering bread, cookies, soups, meals; gardening/landscaping consultation; creation of a custom art piece
• Are you willing to host a small (or large!) social event?  Examples: a themed dinner party; an early Sunday breakfast at the UU; Movie Night in the sanctuary; a cheese tasting event; a guided hike or walking tour; an arts/crafts class; a TTRPG/D&D one shot (role playing game, in person or online); a photography talk; a summer bonfire; a sing-along; a game night
