Puritans in these parts hundreds of years ago insisted on total depravity… that is, the idea that humans are inherently sinful.  Many Universalists pushed back, claiming that people are inherently good.  But if people are good, how do we explain the evil we are capable of?  And if people are inherently sinful, then how do we explain people of all faiths who live lives of compassion, integrity, and service?

Join Worship Associates Peter Courtney and Stephen Beals as we attempt to get beneath the popular duality of human nature (good or bad) to illuminate something a bit more… human.  And humane.
