Many public prayers at UUSGS over the years have included a line that goes something like this: "Love is joy, and joy is resilience." This is complicated math. Especially when times are hard.
Resilience is on everyone's mind these days, or it should be. Because times are hard, right? But joy? Are we still allowed joy?
Not only are we allowed it, we need it - to stay alive, to stay in it for the long haul. To continue showing up, we must connect not only with duty (head) but with joy, with love (heart).
Find your feet again on the rock of universal love this morning as we dig deep on love and courage. Together.
