Our Whole Lives (OWL)

Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a comprehensive sexuality education program. While designed to be relevant to a wide range of family backgrounds and religious traditions, it is centered on values of self-worth, sexual health, responsibility, and justice and inclusion, 

Starting in February, UUSGS will offer the first two units of OWL 7-9 Sexuality Education for Grades 7–9, 2nd (Secular) Edition, 11 workshops in total that model and teach caring, compassion, respect, and justice.

 It is a holistic program that moves beyond the intellect to address the attitudes, values, and feelings that youth have about themselves and the world.

 Unlike many other sexuality curricula currently available, this program is comprehensive and progressive. In an inclusive and developmentally appropriate manner, it addresses sensitive topics that are typically excluded from public school sex education while still being in alignment with all national sex education standards.
