Worship: "Our Real Work"

It may be that when we no longer know what to do
we have come to our real work,
and that when we no longer know which way to go
we have come to our real journey.

For centuries, UU's have talked (in different ways) about the still-small voice within.  The conscience.  Vocation.  A calling.  

Put plainly, we believe that each person has the freedom and responsiblity to think for themselves.  Each person can feel powerful alignment between who they are and what they do.  Paying attention to that alignment -- and making adjustments, when necessary -- is a lifelong journey.

This morning, we'll hear reflections from two staff leaders who work mostly with kids & youth: Angela Mason and Erin Placey.  Their paths are unique, as are their skillsets & personalities.  And yet they each have discerned a powerful calling to help young ones find their voice and grow in community.  

This sacred work begins early at UUSGS, but it is a journey we each will make mutiple times throughout a lifetime.
