Dug, the lovable talking dog from the movie Up! is routinely distracted by squirrels... mid-sentence, even. Staying focused on what matters -- and facing what needs to be faced -- is hard work these days! There is no "Find My..." app for meaning. Or purpose. Or connection. Paying attention takes practice. And sometimes what we're looking for is much closer than we think.
As it turns out, there is a deep connection between awareness and authenticity, between paying attention and being oneself. Authenticity asks us to pay attention -- lovingly -- to oneself... and to pay attention -- lovingly -- to others. This takes regular practice! And so we gather...
