UUSGS Chorale

UUSGS Chorale is the regular UUSGS choir (formerly Adult Choir) and is responsible for the majority of the choir music on Sunday mornings. This group is for those (high school and adults) with experience in choirs at some point, the ability to "match pitch," and some knowledge of how to follow music. The ability to read music fluently is a plus, but knowing how to follow a score will help. The rehearsals for the group move quickly and the material can be  challenging. Regular attendance at rehearsals is required.

SPECIAL PROJECT: A WINTER DAY - This is a song cycle of 5 pieces by Sara Quartel written for the Solstice. We will be performing this with cello on Sunday morning December 20th. Regular attendance at rehearsals is required, along with the ability to sing and follow a musical score. Mostly it is an extension of the the UUSGS Chorale, but if you can't or don't want to commit to regular Sunday mornings, then you are welcome to come just for this project.

We also invite you to join "Community Chorus", which is also open to those who may not be able to read music (yet), looking to develop skills, and build community by joyfully singing together.
