Candle-Lighting & Solidarity Vigil

World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honour refugees around the globe. It falls each year on 20 June and shines a light on the rights, needs and dreams of those forced to flee.

This Sunday morning at UUSGS, before we join the livestream for UUA General Assembly, the Refugee Justice Minsitry Team will lead a short candle-lighting service in honor of the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution.  All are welcome.
