UUSGS called Rev. Jason as Minister by unanimous vote of the congregation in 2012. Prior to arriving in Springfield, Jason served vibrant congregations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and New Jersey. Jason holds a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, where he studied social ethics with Dr. Gary Dorrien. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Hartford Seminary in 2024. Jason’s professional interests include arts & worship, anti-racism & social justice, and youth ministry.
