From Jen Vose...
Every Sunday, when we join together and say the words of our Unison Affirmation, we proclaim to live by the law of “service,” and covenant to “help one another.” We’ll be leaning into this idea very intentionally this November as we, once again, collect food items to share with our neighbors served by the Market at Gray House.
"The Market at Gray House provides nutritious groceries to those struggling with food insecurity."
Starting on November 1 - and continuing throughout November - please bring unopened, unexpired, non-perishable items to Friendship Hall... and at the end of the month, we’ll load up as many cars as we can fill to bring everything over to Gray House. Feel free to visit Gray House’s website to get an idea of some of the items they need most. If you’d like to help with these efforts but are not able to donate actual food items, no worries! We’ll need plenty of hands to organize, pack up, and deliver our donation later this month. So... throw a few extra items in your shopping cart and/or gather your energies – and let’s be there for our neighbors again this Fall!
