Rev. Julie-Ann Silberman-Bunn is an affiliated community minister of UUSGS. She is employed full-time as a local hospice chaplain. She writes:
May begins with memories of Kent State, how it impacted individuals and the community for decades. May ends with Memorial Day and memories of war and those lost and lives forever changed. Church too is filled with memories, memorials and how they impact lives and the community. Today Rev. Julie-Ann will weave together a sermon of memories, memorials and how they remind us to build a future influenced by memories but with memorials built to hold the past in place so we can move forward without being bound by the past.
