Lecture Series

Each Tuesday at 1pm, the UUSGS lecture group meets on Zoom for a half-hour lecture from the Great Courses, followed by a half-hour of discussion led by Dr. Harry Seymour. On February 24, 2026, we will start the 48 episode series: "Law School for Everyone." The course is divided into four 12 week sections with different lecturers for each section. The first 12 are on litigation and legal practice and the art and craft of legislation. The second 12 address criminal law and procedure, followed by 12 weeks on civil law and civic procedures, with the final section concerning tort law.
