DESCRIPTION:\n"People can die from hardening of the categories." -- James L
uther Adams\, UU theologian \n"I am large... I contain multitudes." -- Wa
lt Whitman's "Song of Myself" \n\nWe need categories.  Categories help u
s to understand risk\, connection\, who our "people" are.  But categories
can also be limiting.  No one likes being put in a box.\nThe same can be
said of identity.  Many Buddhist teachers have described identity as an
attachment\, something we should try to let go of.  But identity can also
be hugely helpful\, no?  After all\, sometimes our boxes are those of ou
r own making.\nThis morning\, we kick off a new monthly theme -- Awakening
Curiosity -- by turning our lens to categories and idenities that often s
eem fixed.  Curiosity asks us to awaken to the multitudes within\, among\
, and beyond us.\n------------ \nWorship Leader: Rev. Dr. Jason Seymour\n
