 e more nuanced… capable of lifting all the good while also still being h
 onest about the rest.\nThis morning’s service will invite you to conside
 r all of it\, to be present with this moment and how it is with you.  Aft
 er all\, healthy democracy makes room for authenticity.  Just as doubt is
  not the enemy of faith but rather its whetstone\, so thoughtful questioni
 ng — even dissent — has long been a bedrock of democracy and pluralism
 .\nThis morning\, we reach beneath the shiny veneer patriotism as we lean 
 into some big questions together.  What is the connection between democra
 cy and spirituality?  Why is democracy a core principle of Unitarian Univ
 ersalism?  What does democracy ask of us\, not only collectively but even
