Things are a bit different this year… again.
Due to public health guidance – and after much discernment – we have decided not to pack folks in (as usual) to our sanctuary on Christmas Eve. (We know… we wish we could do it, too!) But just because we can’t do what we used to do… doesn’t mean we can’t do something awesome! So…
You’re invited to some very special holiday events:
- First, a holiday celebration, from 3 to 6PM on Sunday, December 19th outside at UUSGS. There will be cookies and carols, tree trimming and stories with Santa. All are welcome, so bring a friend. Come for the whole time or just drop by to spread some cheer or drop off a gift card for our refugee partners. For more information about how to participate, CLICK HERE (PDF).
- An online celebration of the Winter Solstice will occur on December 21st at 7PM. More info and link HERE.
- We will also gather at 7PM on Christmas Eve for a special candlelight service. Folks who would like to participate in-person are welcome to gather in the courtyard at UUSGS, where we will broadcast to the wider community and welcome in all who would like to participate online.
- Two videos for you to watch whenever works for you & yours: “A Dickens of a Christmas” and “Christmas Bells”.
