Recently, the International Panel on Climate Change issued a report detailing the state of environmental change. The scope and the timing of their research joins a chorus of others suggesting that major changes are coming. News like this can affect us deeply. After all, one of the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism is: respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
Where are you in all that is happening? Are you feeling hopeful? Cynical? Inspired? Whose voices are you hearing? Whose do you need to hear?
This afternoon – following Sunday services – UUSGS will host a community dialog, as we draw deep on our shared values and discern a path forward – as individuals and as a gathered community. Find and keep your balance in good company… and find your feet again on the rock of universal love. All are welcome. Childcare is available. Rev. Jason will facilitate our time together.
