February 2020: Les Miserables

Unity House Players is a community theater organization committed to creating community and deepening dialog through drama and music.  We are a values-driven company.  We believe in the power of good art to change lives… and even the world!  Together, we create local theater that is accessible, inclusive, and artistically compelling.  Unity House productions often feature professional-caliber talent alongside new actors, musicians and crew. We exist to expand access to quality theater in the Pioneer Valley… where anyone of any background can participate in the many facets of musical theater production.

Our past shows include: Godspell (2012), The Sound of Music (2013), Oliver! (2014), West Side Story (2015; received a Massachusetts Critics Circle Award for Best Musical Ensemble), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2016), and A Little Night Music (2017).  In 2017, we also expanded our program to include a comedic straight play, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Revised & Abridged… and a special youth musical: Honk! Jr.  The 2018 Spring program included another youth show – Willy Wonka, Jr. – and another full feature musical: The Music Man.  In Fall 2018, we pulled off a powerful production of The Diary of Anne Frank, complete with an art exhibit on loan from the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect.   The local favorite Seussical, featuring an excellent all-ages cast, went up in Spring 2019.  The classic Romeo & Juliet was our Fall 2019 project.

Unity House Players is always eager to welcome new collaborations… so, please, be in touch!!
