“Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present.” Mindfulness – or, compassionate awareness – can be experienced and developed through a meditation practice. The mindfulness meditation practice at UUSGS is open to the public and is designed to be accessible and meaningful to everyone – with or without meditation experience. The groups leaders have been practicing mindfulness meditation for years and are pleased to share their practice in a warm, supportive environment.
